Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of Acturum. By creating an account, installing the extension, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Acturum.
You must be legally capable of entering this agreement. A person below the applicable age of independent consent may use Acturum only with permission and supervision from a parent or lawful guardian.
The Acturum service
Acturum lets you deliberately save webpages, selected text, and notes; processes those captures; and creates summaries, tags, priorities, and suggested next actions. Access may be provided through the website, browser extension, and supported mobile applications.
Acturum is presently offered to a limited group and may evolve. Features, limits, AI models, platforms, and availability may change. We do not guarantee that a capture will always be extractable or that every generated action will suit your circumstances.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for accurate account information and for protecting your password, Google account, devices, and active sessions. Notify us if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
You may not sell, transfer, share, or provide automated third-party access to your account. Activity through an authenticated session may be treated as authorised unless misuse is promptly reported.
Acceptable use
You may use Acturum for lawful personal productivity. You must not:
- violate law, privacy, intellectual-property, confidentiality, or other rights;
- save content you are not authorised to process;
- probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with security, authentication, ownership checks, rate limits, or capture limits;
- introduce malware, destructive code, scraping, excessive traffic, unauthorised bots, or automated capture loops;
- use Acturum to generate or coordinate abuse, deception, unlawful surveillance, spam, or harmful activity;
- resell or commercially exploit the service without written permission.
Your content and permissions
You retain rights you hold in content you submit. You grant Acturum a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, extract, transform, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You confirm that you have authority to submit the content. Do not capture passwords, access tokens, private keys, payment information, medical records, confidential employer information, or third-party personal data unless you have a lawful and appropriate reason.
AI-generated output
Summaries, tags, priorities, and actions are generated automatically and can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable. They are productivity suggestions—not legal, medical, financial, security, employment, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for reviewing output and deciding whether to act on it. Verify important information against the original source and exercise independent judgement.
Third-party services
Acturum depends on third-party authentication, AI, hosting, database, extension-store, mobile-build, and deployment services. Their availability and terms are controlled by their providers. External pages you save remain governed by their owners’ terms.
Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats, legal obligations, service stability, or a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using Acturum, delete saved content, or permanently delete your account through supported applications.
Availability and liability
Acturum is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free extraction, permanent storage, compatibility with every page or browser, or a particular productivity outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or loss of data, opportunity, revenue, or reputation arising from use of or inability to use Acturum. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to mandatory rights applicable in your location. The parties should first attempt to resolve concerns in good faith through the Contact page.
Terms may be updated for product, risk, provider, or legal changes. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
